Nacida en la Ciudad de México,  Maite Cobián ha vivido en la ciudad de Puebla toda su vida.   Es una mujer de extraordinario talento artístico así como poseedora de un gusto exquisito y cultura envidiable, razón por la cual nos enorgullece presentarla como nuestra Artista del Mes.

Nuestra artista, Maite Cobián, ha recorrido el mundo conociendo el arte y la  cultura de todos los países que ha visitado desarrollando en ella una apreciación impecable hacia la estética y el valor del acervo artístico de la humanidad.  Podemos decir sin temor a equivocarnos, que Maite  a su vez ha contribuído con su granito de arena  para dejar en  nuestro mundo sus obras que  contienen un  gran valor artístico y belleza imperecederos.

Maite es perfeccionista por naturaleza lo cual la impulsa a crear una obra por demás sobresaliente aunada a su continua exploración y dedicación para dominar las diferentes técnicas.   Ha hecho también pinturas maravillosas en temple sobre madera para complementar sus trabajos en estaño con incrustaciones de piedras semipreciosa al  elaborar  unos Iconos del más puro estilo Bizantino.

Maite Cobián was born in Mexico City but has lived in Puebla all of her life.  She is a woman who has an extraordinary artistic talent as well as having exquisite taste which is why we are proud to name her our Artist of the Month.

Her world travels have given her a marvelous knowledge of the art and culture of other countries thus developing in her an impeccable  appreciation of the artistic heritage of mankind.  We can state withouth fear of being wrong, that Maite Cobián has contributed her  grain of sand by leaving to the  world her  own work of great artistic value and beauty.

Maite is a perfeccionist by nature plus her continual drive  to learn and master all the different tecniques lead her to create outstanding pictures.  She has made wonderful paintings in tempera to complement her work in tin with semiprecious stones creating Ikons in the true Bizantine style.
