Rosa Elena Pino – Our Artist of the Month
Rosa Elena Pino, is our Artist of the Month.
After thoroughly reviewing every recommendation received, we have chosen this great artist, based on her evident original talent and impressive curriculum.
Rosa Elena has always painted and I´d like to tell you an amusing anecdote of when she was a girl. The United Nations had invited all schools to send in drawings made by children with the theme “Unifying the World”. Eight years old Rosa Elena drew a World surrounded by locked hands of different skin colors. Days later she was informed by her teachers that her drawing was rejected because it was not “childish” enough.
Since then, Art, for her, has not only been her vocation, but a media to help her express her feelings, and something to develop through her whole life.
Here in Proudly Hispanic we congratulate ourselves for bringing you great artists. Rosa Elena and Marie Lou Budib will have a new exposition on July 24 at the San Pedro Museum in the City of Puebla, Mexico. Ma. Carmen Zabaleta and Marie Lou Budib will also have a showing of their work on July 10 called “Acuarelistas Poblanos”.
Our “orgullosamente Hispanos” artists keep on improving themselves every day and their work is greatly valued by Museums and Art Galleries not only in Mexico but around the World.
Rosa Elena Pino, welcome to our Artists Gallery.
